Finally is worth more than the 96 SML!

Its about damned time. I always wondered why the 96 (mintage of 250,445) had a higher value than the 97 (mintage of 100,970)

The reason was that a single dealer bought almost everyone of the 96's upon issue. Cornered the market, which amazed me that the mint would let him do it.

Well the mint most likely figured that he/she would resell them.

Oh 1997 SMLs? I don't know why they are worth that much more now? I have a hundred of them. Ordered when they were on wholesale on APMEX. $2 over the spot. I wondered whether I paid too much premium because it was just silver. Now I wish I bought more.

Anyone collect the one year the Maple Leaf had the small RMS Titanic inscribed in it?

I have a outstanding looking 10 oz. RMS Titanic memorial round w/felt lined woden box and thought about acquiring a few simillar Maple Leafs but haven't brought myself around to sheling out $20+ per coin.

I bought one of those, its a nice looking coin. I paid like 23.00 for it, but see that its going for 30 on apmex.

So im happy with that as well.

Its funny how stuff like that werks out. Its like when you buy it, ur like,,"wow, did I get hosed or what?" And then come to find out ur in the money (sorta)

I did how ever pay only 11.00 for my 97 thats not in the original RCM mylar and only 14.00 for the one that is.

So I can honestly say,

ITS ALLLLLL GOOOOD!

I have a nice 1/10 ounce gold one with the privy in some sort of commerative holder from RCM, nice one.
